New Pera

This is a follow-up on a joint booking we had and the connection of the 2 booked rooms in succession was seamless! Staff was absolute amazing, helping us with great advice and with solving our issues regarding the accommodation, transportation and even food suggestions that did not disappoint! As we said before, the room is very spacious. The facilities in the room are great and the small balcony really added to the comfort we were looking for! The zone is quite lively which for us was a plus, and there are plenty of great stores and food joints opened even till very late! There is even a scooter rental service that you could opt for which we didn't use but some might get great use from it as Istanbul is a big city. Do not feel shy to try and communicate with the staff as they will try their best to understand what your request is and will be figuring the issues out as soon as they can! Great experience!

The apartments are incredibly cozy and stylish, making us feel right at home! The hostesses were exceptionally friendly and kind, always going out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The location couldn't be more perfect. We truly loved every moment of our stay and left with such wonderful memories. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience!

The proprietors are exceptionally nice and helpful and the location is perfect - just a stones throw from Isticklal Cadessi and a myriad of shops, restaurants and cafes. Everything you could need. The terrace and reception area are really lovely and along with the young couple who own/run the hotel a real bonus. The young lady speaks excellent English and her husband is a great fan of google translate or calling his wife if he has trouble communicating. I will definitely stay here anytime I'm in Istanbul 🤗🤗

The staff at New Pera went above and beyond to help me out & accommodate me, the rooms were cleaned often and very nicely, comfortable beds. It's in a lovely street that's really safe and stands out from the rest of Taksim. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe in the area of the hotel and the reception staff (and Koray in particular!!) was always there to help.

I don't know where to start as I have so much gratitude to the owners. In 2 days they became our family. It's just me and my baby girl and I was so anxious about a long connection in Istanbul. I was on a budget and chose New Pera because of good reviews about the safety of the place. This is a small family run hotel. A beautiful young couple who would go the extra mile to help you. We had a large studio. Bed is comfortable, room was very clean. Basic furniture but the layout was very stylish. I didn't cook because there are many restaurants around, we had a take away and had it on the terrace of the coffee shop that these people are running. In the morning the breakfast was amazing and very healthy. A few things that people mention in reviews: Staircase: yes, quite steep but manageable, I was with a three year old, no problem. Hygiene: I saw how determined the owners are about the cleaning the place. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Area and noise: that was my main concern, but during the week it is very quiet. Had no problems with the neighbours either. On weekends apparently can be noisy, but I haven't experienced that. Most importantly is that the owners are the loveliest people who will make you feel at home.
